The screen sweeps up, over, and around the audience to create a totally immersive visual world, reaching a height of 240 feet and containing almost 3 acres of display area. Sphere’s inner LED display plane has the highest resolution LED screen in the world, at 16K x 16K.
Both are driven by technologies from 7thSense. The venue welcomed its first visitors on 29 September, and its major features include a 160,000-square-foot internal LED plane, with a 580,000 square-foot exterior titled the Exosphere. 7thSense, the multi-award-winning media solutions specialist, has announced that it has partnered with Sphere, an innovative entertainment format, on the inaugural Sphere venue in Las Vegas.
